Why positive mindset doesn’t always work
I have always been interested in positive mindset, self-healing, and wellbeing.
But I have suffered from anxiety all my life and I have often sat back on the side-lines and watched other people who weren’t any better or smarter than Master it and then me surpass me with financial and career success.
And I got so sick of coaches and mentors claiming to be just like me; having past struggles like anxiety, self-confidence, and success issues that they have managed to overcome with just a positive mindset to now have an abundance of wealth…
I had been practising positive mindset techniques for years and couldn’t understand why I was standing still.
Or why positive mindset didn’t always work.
But recently I figured out the answer…
And I wanted to share the reasons and the solutions with other likeminded women. So, we can all move forward together and be the strong successful women we know we are.
So, here are the reasons why positive mindset doesn’t always work.
And there are two reasons.
The first reason why positive mindset doesn’t always work
The first reason positive mindset doesn’t always work is this
Positive mindset does not work if you are overwhelmed with anxiety and negative thinking.
Any positive mindset that we try to program in is counter acted by the anxiety and negativity that we have going on in our lives.
And so, we don’t move forward. We just stand still.
Now the only way through this and past this is to sooth the anxiety and negative emotions first and then in put the positive mindset.
The second reason why positive mindset doesn’t always work
The second reason positive mindset doesn’t work is we simply don’t practise it enough. We do it once or twice and then we forget about it.
And then again, we just don’t move forward. We just stand still.
We need to practise positive mindset every single day. Especially in the early stages. Because we need to build up a momentum.
If we are not building on that momentum and keeping everything moving forward. Then the energy will start to slow and then we will come to a standstill again.
Why positive mindset doesn’t always work
So, to recap
We need to quieten down anxiety and negative thoughts first. And then we input positive mindset. But then we need to repeat the positive mindset every day.
